Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need Life Insurance?

Life insurance isn’t a legal requirement but it’s something that we believe everyone should have in place to provide their loved ones with financial security in the event of their death.

A lump sum payment be used to pay off the mortgage, help with the every day bills or however the family would like to use it.

Can I get Life Insurance and Critical Illness as a Combined Policy?

You can get a single policy or you can choose to have multiple policies. You can also choose to have a single policy that will cover just yourself or you could choose to have a joint policy, which will cover you and your partner.

What's Income Protection Insurance?

If you were unable to work due to an accident, illness, or injury, income protection could provide you with regular income whilst you’re off from work.

The majority of people choose income protection because their employer only provides statutory sick pay or because the amount of sick pay offered by their employer is insufficient to cover all of their monthly expenses.

Can I get Life Insurance that also covers my children?

For instance, one of our service providers will pay £100 for each night your child spends in the hospital to help you with any time off work you might require.

How often do I need to review my Life Insurance?

We suggest that you recommend your life insurance when your circumstances change such as if you got a new job, had children, got married or gone self employed.

How much will Life Insurance cost me?

The cost of life insurance is different for every person – there isn’t one policy that fits all. However usually if you start your policy when you’re younger, it tends to be cheaper per month than if you were to do it when you’re older.

What if I have already have a medical condition, can I still get protection insurance?

Yes, it’s still possible for you to get protection insurance. Some providers may exclude your medical condition from your policy or if you wish to be covered for it, your premiums may be higher.

What's the difference between critical illness and income protection?

Critical Illness will provide you with a payout in the event that you’re diagnosed with a critical or terminal illness. A critical illness could be cancer, stroke or a heart attack but what is covered is different between providers.

Income Protection will provide monthly payments in the event that you’re too ill or injured to work. The reasons can be because you’ve broken your leg and it’s preventing you from doing your job or because you have been signed of by a doctor with stress.

Don’t leave your family out in the cold.
